    Healthy diet while undergoing fertility treatment can help alleviate some of the side effects associated with the medications/treatment, improve self esteem, and make you feel stronger & physically better.

    A balanced diet and a healthy body weight play an important role in your health during pregnancy and the health of your developing fetus. My nutrition services include but are not limited to the following:

    • Making long-term healthy lifestyle changes

    • Weight loss or weight gain for better pregnancy outcomes

    • Continuing your specialty diets (e.g. vegan/vegetarian) into pregnancy

    • History of Gestational Diabetes with previous pregnancies

    • Sorting through any confusing food related information as you plan your parenting journey

    • Couples nutrition counseling

  • During Pregnancy

    It’s not just about taking prenatal vitamins! A balanced diet is a crucial part of a healthy pregnancy for mama and baby. Offering nutrition counseling for your unique situation along the three trimesters:

    • Morning sickness & food aversions

    • Healthy weight gain

    • Managing Gestational Diabetes

    • Anemia and other deficiencies

    • Specialty diets (e.g. vegan/vegetarian)

    • Food safety, myths, and uncertainties.

    The benefits of breastfeeding, for both mother and child, are so numerous I would run out of space attempting to list them here. I truly believe that breastfeeding is ingrained in our biology and you already know the way. Sometimes, we do need a little bit of guidance or may have questions. I am here to provide you with answers, reduce any fears and uncertainties that you may have, or simply go over the “basics”. The best time to schedule your Breastfeeding Education session is during the 3rd trimester. So, when your baby is born you feel empowered and start your successful and beautiful breastfeeding journey.

  • First Stages of Feeding Your Baby

    Transitioning your baby to solid foods can be both an exciting and confusing time. I support transitioning babies to solids when they are physically ready and are showing the right cues. I also support and practice the Baby Led Weaning approach, providing your baby real, whole foods that are safe for their developmental stage. Some examples of the nutrition support that I offer, but is not limited to the following:

    • Education about the Baby Led Weaning approach

    • Baby’s food sensitivities and allergies concerns

    • Feeding baby on a specialty diet, such as a vegan/vegetarian diet

    • Transitions in feeding your little one from baby to toddlerhood

  • Childhood Nutrition

    One of the most important things that we can do as parents and caregivers is to create healthy eating habits for our children from the start.
